As I mentioned in my last post, I stayed in a hostel over Christmas and it was nice, to sleep in a normal bed again and have a shower every day!
I also visited the Festival of Lights multiple times and of course took some pictures!
After Christmas, I made my way to Wanganui, where I stayed with a local family and we had a very delicious BBQ.
Since then, I made my way across the North Island, with a quick stop in Taupo again, and will continue my way towards the East Cape for New Years Eve.
After New Years, I am driving to Wellington to catch the ferry to the South Island on the 9th.
